FAQs

(1) How do I know that my frame or sunglasses fits me well?

At Vision Express, we offer eyeglasses in 3 sizes – Small, Medium & Large. Click on “Frame Size” filter, given at the top of the page where you can see all our products.

Step 1: Check the frame width- It should only just extend past your cheekbones. If you can fit more than one finger between the arm of the frame and your temple, the frame is too wide. On the other hand, if the arm touches your temple, the frame is too narrow.

Step 2:Check the arm length-It should extend straight back to your ears and only touch the side of your head just in front of your ears. The arms must also not curve too early; if they do, this will push the glasses down on your nose.

Step 3: Check the bridge width-It should fit comfortably, neither too tight nor too loose. A too-tight bridge will be uncomfortable and compromise on your vision correction by keeping the glasses too high on the face. A too-loose bridge will allow the glasses to fall down on your nose, requiring constant readjustment.

(2) How do I know what size to buy?

Step 1: It’s quite simple. Just pull out your credit or debit card from your wallet.

Step 2: To measure, place one edge of the card at the centre of your nose and see where it ends. If the card ends at the tip of your eyes, a Medium sized frame would fit you perfectly. If the card width extends the eyes, a Small size would be perfect for you. Just in case the card edge finishes before your eyes end, you need a Large-sized frame.

(3) Where can I find my frame measurements?

When you pick a pair of frames or sunglasses that you love, look on the inside of the frames’ temples (or arms) where you will see a series of numbers like this – 52/14/140. The first number is simply the horizontal width of the lens and usually ranges from 40 mm to 60 mm. The second number is the bridge size ranging from 14 mm to 24 mm and is the distance between the two lenses. The temple length is the last number measured from the end piece to the tip. This length falls between 120 mm to 150 mm.

(4) Unsure of the look and fit of the frames and sunglasses that you wish to purchase?

Use our Virtual 3D Try On Feature – if you are unsure of the look and fit of the frame or sunglass that you wish to purchase. Click on the 3D Try On button, on our product page of the frame you have chosen, and follow the instructions. You can see a 180 degree view of yourself in the chosen frame. You can also click pictures of yourself, save it on your desktop or mobile, also whatsapp images and share with your friend and family to find a perfect pair for yourself.

(5) Where do I submit my eye power details?

You can submit your power details after you choose lens for your eyeglasses. There are multiple options to provide your prescription to us – upload a picture, enter it manually or you can also let us know your prescription details within 7 days from the date of order placed.

(6) What if I don’t have my prescription handy? Is it necessary to give it right away?

It’s ok if you don’t have your prescription handy while placing the order. Simply place the order for the frame and lens that you have chosen. You can upload the prescription within 7 days from the date of order placed. Also when one of our executives will call you to confirm your order, you can let him/her know your prescription details.

(7) How to book an eye test?

You can click on the Book an Eye Test tab on the home page of our website, wherein you will have to fill in few details like – Name, City, nearest area, date for test and most importantly a slot exclusively for yourself at your convenient time and submit all the details.

You will receive an email as well as call confirming the date and time that you would have booked for the test.

(8) How many days will it take to make and deliver my eyeglasses?

The delivery of an order for a pair of eyeglasses, sunglasses or ready readers usually takes between 5-7 working days and about 7-14 working days for an order with powered lenses. We can’t wait for you to receive your new pair!

(9) How do I find status of my order?

Click on Track Order icon on the Home Page. You will be redirected to your order history page. You can select View & Track option against the order to view the current status of your order.

(10) How do I order multiple pair of glasses with different prescriptions?

Once you have decided the frame you want to buy, select the type of lens package and add ons. You will be asked to upload your prescription. Upload your prescription image and click on "Save & Add To Cart" option. Repeat the process if you want to buy a different glass with a different prescription.

(11) Are there any shipping charges?

Shipping is free for orders placed above Rs.1000/-. However, for orders below Rs.1000/-, Rs.50/- will be charged.

(12) What if I am not satisfied with the product received? What are your returns & exchange policies?

Don’t Worry! We’ve got your back. Vision Express has a return policy valid within 14 days from the date of delivery. If there is any issue with your product, within 14 days from the date of delivery a pickup can be arranged by contacting us. Once the pickup is done, the amount paid in case of prepaid orders will be refunded to you within 7-10 working days to the original payment method.

In the unlikely occasion of an incorrectly processed lens order, we’ll have the product picked up and have the correct lenses fitted.
